Hi members,
I had served as an outsourced engineer in an organisation. That particular organisation changed the manpower company twice, which means that in the total employment duration of around 20 months, I was made an employee of one consultancy for 16 months and the other consultancy for 4 months. Now I have joined govt service in Ministry of Defence. Now I have the NPS system for future savings (Earlier it used to be EPFO while I was serving as outsourced engineer).
Now here lies the problem. The latest employer is the one which I have 4 months of work experience in. So whenever I apply for final settlement of EPF, the EPFO employees just credit the amount accumulated in the last 4 months only. I had marked exit from both of the services and also transferred the earlier EPF account into the latest one. How do I let them know that I need the final settlement of earlier service history of 16 months also.
This is also the reason they are declining Pension settlement as well since the last service history is for 4 months only.
