I have a doubt during the Performance Appraisal, does the whole HR Team conduct the appraisal program or does only the manager handle that part.
Please suggest your methods of Performance Appraisal that you follow in your company as this is my first experience. I am awaiting a good response quickly.

Our company has almost completed one year. Currently, 25 employees are working, and I am the only person in the HR Department. Over the past month, I have been gathering more information and references through the CiteHR site and other platforms.
Additionally, I have 5 years of experience in supply chain management. I received an offer here as an EXE - HR and now need to develop my company and establish the HR Department. Although I have acquired some knowledge in HR, there are still some topics that remain unclear, specifically PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL.
Could you please suggest what performance appraisal is, its usage, where it should be applied, and whether it is conducted for our company records or external audit purposes? Also, which performance appraisal method would be most suitable for our company - 90, 180, 270, or 360 degrees?
