Hi Mallika,
Recruitment strategies for organizations are formulated based on various parameters. Every organization develops different strategies for various types of recruitments - Freshers, Laterals, Senior Management, and Board members. However, in general, all these strategies are crafted based on the following criteria:
1. Quantity of hiring - number of people required
2. Level of hiring - Freshers, Laterals
3. Duration of resource requirement - determines whether to opt for Contract, Contract to Hire, or Permanent hiring
4. Technology - Niche technologies are required
Please let me know if you need further clarification or information on this topic.
Thank you.

Hi Srikant, first you have completed B. Com. Why did you choose Administration? Administration is not a specific area; it is the general core of industries. Please note some guidelines about your future:
1. Now you can pursue an MBA in business or any field in administration. After that, you will have more opportunities for good jobs; otherwise, it will be very difficult.
2. If you are entering the field of Accounts, your career will start with a fresher job.
3. You can also consider an MBA in Human Resources and work in the HR/ Personnel department.
Thanks,

Hi Srikanth,
I agree with Manoj to an extent. You should consider pursuing an MBA, but that is a long-term goal. Currently, your qualifications should not be a hindrance to working in the Admin department unless you are dealing with government agencies like STPI or Customs, where a certain level of knowledge in the rules is necessary.
Regarding your concern about not receiving calls from employers, please consider the following:
1. When was the last time you updated your profile? Recruiters usually contact candidates whose profiles have been updated within the last 2 to 3 months. It is advisable to make small edits to your profile, like adding a dot or something similar, to indicate that you are an active job seeker and increase the likelihood of receiving calls.
2. Review how you have presented your profile on Naukri. Ensure that you have accurately mentioned your Functional Expertise and roles on job portals.
3. Check the job postings on popular portals like Naukri, TimesJobs, and Monster. Make sure that the required skills mentioned in those postings are reflected in your resume.
4. Include your contact details at the top of your profile.
5. Lastly, don't forget to keep a positive attitude and perhaps even rely on some luck. :-)
I hope these suggestions will help you receive more calls. Please keep me updated.
Thanks,
Vamsi Krishna
