Dear seniors,
I have joined an e-commerce company as an HR professional, and they are asking me to set KPIs for employees in different departments such as accounts, packers, online ad posting, and dispatch.
Please help me with this task.
Thank you.

You need to institute a comprehensive Performance Management System (PMS) in your company. You cannot look at the few departments in isolation. It is the HOD's job to design the targets, not yours. HR is only a process facilitator or process owner of PMS.
In my previous reply to a query similar to yours, I provided an exhaustive response. You may refer to it by clicking the following link: https://www.citehr.com/526357-kpi-kr...-download.html.
Additionally, I have uploaded a video on PMS. You can view it by clicking here: click here.

Hello All,
Recently, I joined an e-commerce company as an HR manager, and I am not very familiar with HR processes, policies, and creating KRAs and KPIs. Please suggest how I can improve my HR skills and become a good HR Manager.

In my experience, good HR means a person who contributes to the business. For that to happen, you have to: a) first understand each and every job—what they do and how they do it, and b) how each job contributes to the organizational Vision/Mission/profitability drivers—delivery, revenue, cost, customer service, quality, etc. Of course, you have to go into the depth of each job.
At the intersection of the job and its linkage to organizational goals, you will find the KPIs.
Let me know if this helps.
