Dear Seniors, I have a doubt regarding the Registration Certificate (RC) under the Principal Employer - Contract Labour Act in Maharashtra. Is it necessary to renew the RC annually even if there are no amendments to the RC? I have reviewed the bare Act but was unable to find any information apart from the amendment in the Registration Certificate. Your prompt guidance on this matter is greatly appreciated.

Please note that only licenses under various acts (Contract Labour Act, Factories Act, Mines Act, Interstate Migrant Workers Act, etc.) require a renewal process every year. The Registration Certificates under various acts do not need any renewal. They only need to be amended as and when required.
