Hi... I am working in an organization since past 3 months. The probation period of the company is 6 months. I am not liking the environment of the organization and want to leave on immediate basis. If I resign without serving my complete notice period then what all actions can the company take legally. No direct reference has been made to this in my appointment letter.

I am working in a PSU, we have to serve one year of the training period and six months of probation period before finalizing. As our training did not complete on time, I was on training for one year and 4 months. But the letter issued to me from the back date and it confirms that I did my training in exactly one year. But now the problem arises as my probation started after one year and 4 months. So in actual, I was on training + probation period for 1 year and 10 months which seems wrong to me as I should have completed in 1 year and 6 months. In between, I did not receive any letter confirming my training extension. Now, I wanted to apply for a company after 1 year and 8 months but I am not allowed to do so as I am on probation as per order. Please guide me what should I do now.

Hello, My wife has been working as an Assistant Professor for an Engineering College since 2012. The college is affiliated to the University of Mumbai, and the University Grants Commission's approval is also there. Her appointment was on the ad-hoc basis for the period from 2012 to 2015. In 2015, she received a 24-month order of probation and successfully completed in 2017. During her probation she did not receive any type of memo/complaint. But in 2018 suddenly the college again issued an Ad-hoc order of 11 months. Therefore, I want to know that, can collage issues the ad-hoc order after successful completion of Probation. I also want to know Laws for probation period.
