Hi all,

In medical checkups, under what circumstances can an employee be terminated? We are unable to conduct an MRI test as it is not applicable to our firm, but apart from that, we have blood tests, urine tests, therapy X-rays, and ECGs done. Could anyone please tell me if an employee can be terminated based on these tests?

Thank you.

Dear,

Unless it is a condition of employment that a person should be medically fit, you cannot terminate that person. If he becomes medically unfit, then he has to be discharged, which requires you to pay disability compensation.
