I have worked for 1.5 years with company 'A', which has no PF. I then joined company 'B', which offers PF benefits, but I absconded from company 'B'. Now, I am employed at company 'C', an MNC that provides PF benefits. Recently, I received an offer letter from another MNC, company 'D'.

Background Verification Concerns

Will they discover my employment at company 'B' during the Background Verification (BGV) process? I did not include company 'B' in my resume. I possess all necessary documents from my previous jobs.

Yes, there is a chance of discovery of the abandonment of the previous employment through the PF portal. You could be questioned about the mismatch in your CV and the details on the PF portal.

Absconding in BGV

By the way, you have given the heading of your post as "Absconding In BGV." However, you have not absconded from the BGV per se but from one of the preceding employments. The BGV could uncover this fact.

Background Verification Concerns

You worked at Company B for only three months, yet your PF details would reveal your employment there if someone bothers to check. How far the MNC would go in checking your background cannot be determined by outsiders like us. The brief duration at Company B could serve as your justification for omitting it from your resume, but whether it would be sufficient to satisfy the new MNC is only a matter of speculation.
