Hello Everyone,
I have around 7 years of experience as follows:
- Company 1: 4 years
- Company 2: 1 year
- Company 3: 0.1 years (absconding)
- Company 4: around 2 years
Background and Current Situation
Due to a couple of medical issues at my home, it was very unfortunate that I couldn't join Company 3 due to relocation after accepting the formal offer.
Later, I received a new offer for work from home with Company 4, so I joined them on the 9th of March. However, Company 2 terminated my employment after a couple of show-cause notices that I missed due to medical emergencies I was facing simultaneously, and they marked my exit date as 11th March in the PF portal.
This situation resulted in a 2-day overlap between Companies 4 and 3. I left Company 4, and they provided me with proper relieving and full and final settlement.
Seeking Advice
I am seeking advice on how to handle this situation for my future career prospects as I am experiencing significant mental distress due to these circumstances.
- I have chosen not to include Company 3 on my resume since I never physically or virtually joined them.
- Should I disclose this situation to my next potential employer, or wait for them to inquire if they discover this information?
I would appreciate your suggestions as I am currently very disturbed and not thinking clearly due to this situation.
Thank you.

Hi, Through the UAN Portal or during background verification (BGV), your future employer might become aware of your employment history at Company 3. Despite it being only a one-month service, it should not be an issue. If there are any questions, you can provide an explanation.
Additionally, never join another new company before officially being relieved from your current employer, either through proper relieving procedures or termination. It is important to wait for the completion of the process before joining another company.
