Designing Minimum Leaves Policy for a Gurgaon-Based IT Startup: Insights on CL, SL, and EL - CiteHR

I have to design a leave policy for an IT startup (Gurgaon-based, 1-year-old, 15 employees, 6 days/week working). I learned that there would be 16 EL for a 6 days/week working company. My questions are:
(1) What is the minimum number of CL and SL that must be given other than 16 EL?
(2) Is there any rule (central or Haryana govt) that specifies the minimum sick or casual or total leaves for employees of a small IT company?

Kindly help me with these questions.

I suggest you read the Shops & Est- Act pertaining to your state. Every state has its own leave rules. The general rule is that you are supposed to have 1 Earned Leave (EL) for every 20 working days. The ELs can be more, and they can be encashed at the time of leaving.
