Hi Margaret,
I used to work for a private company four years ago, but I haven't withdrawn my PF yet. Is there a way for me to withdraw my PF now, considering the head office is located in Gujarat? It has been a bit challenging for me to send the PF forms and receive a response.
Could you please assist me with this matter?
Regards,
Margaret

Hi,
Yes, you can fill up Form No. 19 & 10C and send the same to the HR of your previous company. They will process it accordingly. After the company completes the process, you can follow up from your end.
Once the company completes the process, you can also directly get in touch with the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the PF office. They should be able to provide you with the status.

Hi,
If you have a good relationship with your previous company, you can send forms by courier and ask for acknowledgment. You can mark an option "deposit amount in bank" and need to give details of your bank in the form. After a month, the amount would be deposited in your account.
You can submit your PF withdrawal form only after 2 months of termination from your company.
I hope the information is sufficient for you.

Hi,
You need to write a letter to your previous company in Gujarat and ask them for the withdrawal of PF. They should be able to fill the form and get it deposited at the PF office. However, make sure to ask them that once the PF form is deposited, they can send the acknowledgment to you for record-keeping (you can use that acknowledgment to check the status of your form).
In case there are any issues in obtaining this form (such as the company being closed down), you can still deposit the form after getting it attested by a gazetted officer. However, you should have your PF number with you for that process.
Cheers,
