Another essential skill for HR is to "ADD Value" to make things and people become better. The article mentions a caveat on the priority of skills. I tend to agree, but some reference is made with regards to the focus, i.e., alignment to business strategy. HR must look into serving this "customer" angle, even though they may take up a support role.
I support the call for HR to be the voice of conscience or spiritual intelligence. I wonder how much voice HR had in Enron, AIG, and Lehman.
