Aarti,
Firstly, please stop talking in regional languages at work. Secondly, when you read English newspapers, do read out loud. Buy grammar books and use the parts of speech in your daily interactions. Remember, practice makes perfect. So, keep practicing.

First, I would like to say, keep confidence in yourself. This should be the first process, no matter what work needs to be done. Let me come to the point. As you said, you were lacking in English. It's not a big problem; you can learn it very quickly and easily.
Steps to Improve English
The first step you should take is to have some basic knowledge of grammar so that you can speak good English. Keep on reading English newspapers. If you find it hard to understand the meaning of some words in the newspaper, refer to a dictionary for clarification. Watch good English movies and try to listen to how they speak. Choose your own topic and try to speak on that topic for more than 10 minutes at home or wherever you feel comfortable. Don't feel shy to talk in English, even if you make mistakes. Practice! Practice and practice... so that you can succeed in your life.
