Hi,
Intimate all of them through registered post and ask the reason for their absence and document it. Based on the document and the company policy you can initiate action for termination. But refer employee handbook, offer letter before taking any steps.

Dear Manish,
Pls check the T&C laid down in your appointment order. Disciplinary action taken on measures of unauthorized absence, fraud, etc needs to be mentioned. If not, pls include the same in the appointment letters immediately.
If the clause is mentioned, you could go ahead and issue a termination letter to the defaulting trainees. Pls document all the necessary actions and papers for your future reference.

Manish, You may want to save time on clerical activity, but let’s not skip the legal procedures. Pls follow the same, coz you may need to validate your action later on. Regards, Suja

Dear Manish ji,For termination of any cadre of employment there is a policy. First you have not clearly mentioned about what kind of "TRAINEE". Is he an Apprentice Ship Trainee ? and Management Trainee engaged by your company. OR according to your compnany policy if any; before taking into permanent roll ar you engaged such cadre of employment ? Are you deducting PF/ESI for those cadre of employment ? Any how if you want to termenate any such persons you have to follow as per ID act.or Standing orders act (If your company having Certified Standing Orders) if not you have to follow the Model Standing Orders of the particular State Rules.FOR CLARIFICATIONS OF SUCH DOUBTS ONLY , I HAVE COMPOSED A BOOK ON DISCIPLANARY ACTION - ITS A HAND BOOK FOR HR-MANAGERS. If you need that book please send your willing to me :
