dear ankit
there can not be standarad leave policy because while framing leave policy of the company you have to take care of state leave rules as per provisions of shop act , factories act and factory rules.the factory/establishment which may be compliying delhi rules may not fit to UP.
see as per delhi shop and establisment act
privilege leave 15 and casual and sick leav 12
whereas as per UP shop act
privilege leave 15 ,casual 10 sick 15
see now how much is difference, these are minimum leave one has to give than how you can form standrad policy.

Dear Ankit,
I'm with Malik, There wont be any as such. But, few things must be followed as per the Laws & Acts.
1. PL/EL :
If the company is working for 5 days a week then 1 earned leave for 30 days. If the establishment is working 6 days per week then 1 & 1/2 per 30 days, that is 1 earned leave for every 20 service days.
2. Sick leave is must: No of the leaves minimum 12 and max up to the management decision.
3. Maternity & Paternal Leaves are as per the 1961 act.

Shiv

Dear Ankit,
Although there is nothing called a standard policy. Policies vary from company to company, place to place.
However, to help you form a leave policy I am enclosing herewith a file that you may take as a reference and make a policy as per the need of your company and the applicable laws in your state.
