Hey fellows, are you waiting for October 2, or are you immediately shutting down your smoking rooms in your companies? Are you yourself a chain smoker, and hate this rule? :-D

Tell me, my opinion is yes to wait until October 2. Why not close the smoking cabins, galleries, etc., in your office from today itself? And you yourself are responsible for opening these smoking galleries in your companies. It's you, the HR, who has opened the smoking rooms. Why? Why? Is it not because of you that your employees go and smoke? Imagine having a no-smoking room. What will employees do? Go out at lunchtime or after office hours to smoke. But because you provide this facility, you are yourself killing your employees, and employees smoke as they please. Who is responsible for this? I think it's you, and only you! :-x:-x

Hi Ravi,

I don't know why they want to ban smoking. Can they ban the manufacturing of tobacco products? They can't. The ban should be made in places nearer to hospitals, schools, and other sensitive places. They want a healthier place, ban all vehicles, and the use of fridges as it contains the most dangerous chemicals, passing all industrial outlets to water. All things they can't ban as people are addicted. So, health ministers just want to show how much they care for the public, that's it. Nothing can be changed until it's been taken out from its roots itself.

Okay, HR people, I think you are implementing the rule strictly because, as per the rule, it is the HR manager who will be held responsible if their employees smoke in offices and prosecuted. If HR is found responsible, then the concerned HR should be prosecuted. So please implement the rule.
