In general, under Minimum Wages Rules, we are required to issue wage slips to the employees a day prior to the disbursement of wages in the prescribed format as provided by the applicable state/central Rules. In the case of Haryana, in accordance with Rule 26(2) of the Punjab Minimum Wages Rules, 1950, we are supposed to issue wage slips in Form XI, and the signature of the employee is to be obtained on the wage slip as proof of receipt as per Rule 26(3).
