Recently, I submitted Form 19 and Form 10C for my previous employer's PF account closure (worked for 7 months with that employer). I received a message stating that my Form 19 has been processed, and the amount has been credited to my bank account. However, I also received another message saying that my Form 10C has been rejected.
Please let me know if I will receive any amount if I resubmit my Form 10C or what its purpose is. I have received Rs. 50,000/- for my Form 19. What will be the approximate amount that I will receive if I resubmit my Form 10C?

Dear Deepika, The maximum contribution in the EPS account will be Rs. 541/- per month. What is your basic salary? You have mentioned that your total receipt in Form 19 is Rs. 50,000/-, which seems to be unrealistic. That means your basic salary, from which the PF was deducted, was Rs. 32,000/-.
Your accumulated EPS contribution for the 7 months is Rs. 3,787/-, for which interest will not be paid. What is the reason given in the EPS Form? Please check with the PF Department of your office and get clarification. They can guide you properly in this aspect.

You are correct about the basic salary. I am yet to receive the rejection letter with the reason for rejection. I will update once I receive the rejection letter about the reason.
So based on the reasons, if I resubmit Form 10C, will I get approximately Rs. 3787/-? Is that correct?
Regards,
Deepika.

Dear Deepika,
Greetings for the day. In addition to all the above-mentioned comments, I would like to point out a few things that may be the reasons for the rejection of your Form 10C:
1. Incomplete form.
2. Mismatch in the authorized signatory specimen signature.
3. Withdrawal benefit against Form 10C is only admissible if the membership is 180 days or more. So, 6 months doesn't mean anything. Please check the non-contributory days of your service period, i.e., of 7 months.
Thanks & Regards,

Dear Sir,
I had applied for the PF claim, but the department rejected Form 10C and Form 19. The reason for Form 10C rejection is services less than 6 months, and for Form 19, it is the authorized officer's signature not tallying.
Please help me, sir. What should I do now?
Thank you.

Dear all, can anyone help me with proper clarification?
I have worked for an organization for 6 years and resigned in December 2017. After waiting for a 2-month period, I applied for online PF withdrawal through UAN. I submitted both Form 19 and Form 10C online. Now, when I check the claim status, Form 19 shows settled with a certain amount. The remark also indicates "next initiated." However, under Form 10C, it's showing as rejected with the following remarks:
"Claim-form-10C (EPS withdrawal/SC) (withdrawal benefit/scheme certificate) claim id-gnggn180250026193 member id-gnggn00293350000001190 has been rejected due to: form 19 attached along with form 10C/ok."
I am worried because the amount reflecting under Form 19 approval is less than what it shows in my PF passbook. Please advise on what I should do as I am unable to understand the situation.
Thank you.
