Thank you for your help. I appreciate that! Yes, I am not from India. I am an MBA student, and my name is Nida. I have not decided on my organization's name yet, and this is the first time I am working on a project. I have to conduct a needs-based assessment first, and my professor said I can choose any national or international company for the project.

I suggest you to go ahead for the organization in your home country wether you could found the practical application of trainning and development and thier impact on the performance of employees.

I suggest that you go ahead and consider an organization in your home country where you can observe the practical applications of training and development, as well as their impact on employee performance. You will always have access to supporting materials and receive proper guidance from HR personnel, which will help you easily carry out the assigned project.

If I understand your posting correctly, you are doing this activity as an MBA assignment.

Just a suggestion: It may serve your needs more appropriately if you determine the area of business interest. It is true that there are some universal attributes in many training regimens; however, it is truly best to 'tailor' any training to a company's specific need(s), rather than a broad generic training sweep. Although this 'sweep' may, in fact, satisfy your assignment requirement, it will hold little purpose of application in the business world.

If you are taking on this assignment to develop the framework for a training and development opportunity, then again, I would suggest identifying the company's current focus. For example, many of us can put to use a basic "Diversity in the Workforce" training module. BUT, if the company is responsible for assisting a new government, then the training module may take on an entirely different focus.

Regarding the topic, you can conduct a study on:

1. Factors that make your company opt for training and development.
2. Comparison of employee expectations on training before and after training (using the Kirkpatrick model or CIRO).
3. Strategic training (how much your company's training is aligned with the company's business strategy).
