The Shops and Establishments Act is not a central Act but an act enacted by States. Therefore each State will have it's own Shops Act. You are required to study the Shops act of your State only. You may search for web sites that dispaly teh act or e-books on the subject.

Don't hestitate, go to any Law Books Store and ask for Bare Acts ( all Labour Laws atleast) which costs each only 30 to 50 Rs.) and do your
home work. At least buy a handbook " A practical guide to Labour Laws, this is like your Notes which will help you to master these laws.
