Ramesh,
Thanks for sharing the write-ups. I believe the fundamentals of IR practice are virtually similar. There could, however, be some little variations to suit the culture and beliefs of individual nations.

Really good. Within a very short span, for recapitulation of laws & related ideas, it shall definitely help us. But it would have been better to add case laws instead of some very common items presented here.

I am working with a large-scale engineering industry responsible for total logistics management. To systemize the activities, I am trying to prepare a manual on "Total Logistics." If anybody has a manual or company policy on logistics available, please forward it to me so that I can prepare the manual with ease.

Dear Nidhi, Good work done on the IR subject. It will be very useful for the students. Keep it up. regards B N Nagaraj GM-HR Adarsh Group BAngalore
Nice presentation, Nidhi. You have prepared it well. However, you could have enhanced it with some background pictures and color shades, which would make it more attractive. By incorporating colors and pictures, students will be more engaged in learning the subject.
Thanks for sharing and keep on sharing.

Nice educative PPTs. As HR consultants and lecturers, I have some suggestions. Please elaborate on the definition of the term "Industry" by citing the judgment of the Supreme Court in the case of K Rajappa vs. Bangalore Water Supply & Sewage Board. Additionally, discuss unfair labour practices in the Act, matters within the jurisdiction of the Works Committee, Labour Court, Industrial Tribunal, and the important provisions of the State Act for practical purposes. I hope my suggestions will be beneficial to you.

Dear Sir,
I am currently working in an MNC where we have been paying Rs. 3500/- annually as LTC amount. Recently, there has been a request for revision from our end. Our settlement is in place until 2014 with one union. However, some workers have now joined a new union and are pushing for this revision. We have declined the demand and it has not been accepted.
My concern is, can they proceed with a strike due to this disagreement?
Any guidance or advice on how to approach this situation would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Prakash
