Hi all,
Could anyone please share with me a good PowerPoint presentation based on Industrial Relations/IR department? It is required for the induction of other functional teams within the company. We have a team consisting of a GM (IR), an AGM, followed by three IR managers. The total workforce is around 3000, and we also have five unions. As a beginner, I am unsure how to create an effective PowerPoint presentation. Kindly assist as needed.

Dear Awdhesh,
In your post, you have stated that you hold the position of GM (HR) and AGM, followed by three managers in the Industrial Relations (IR) department. Despite having five managers and above in this department, why did you feel the need to seek help for a presentation on IR on this forum instead of approaching your own managers? What was the holdup?
It should have been these managers who provided feedback on what should be included and excluded in the presentation. Does the unstated part of the post hint at poor relations among the managers in the Industrial Relations department? If this is true, then it is high time for the GM (HR) to first address the internal relations within the department before concerning themselves with relations with the labor union.
Thanks,
Dinesh Divekar

Dear Awdhesh, Dinesh Diwekar has raised some pertinent questions, to which I will add a few. Could you kindly tell us what's your role and how long you have been working, and when did you finish your degree? The reason I ask about your qualification and when you finished your degree is because you say that you do not know how to make a PowerPoint presentation.
Kindly also tell us whether you have made any attempt to search for presentations on the web? It appears you have not. As a non-HR person, I searched the web and found a lot of links at https://www.google.co.uk/#q=industri...+presentations

You need to tell us more - what kind of establishment you are in, where it is located, your activities, to whom you have to educate, and the methodology you are going to adopt? What about your IR policy, SOPs, etc.? Put them all in line, and you'll have your PowerPoint presentation.
