I would really appreciate if you can share your experience on this subject and provide some solution which is in the best interest of employees, and employer and also is in line with laws.
You must have come across the recent update that has taken place in our country that is to link everything such as Pan number, Bank Account, Mobile number, PF account with Aadhaar Card.
Now, I would like to post a query regarding linking Aadhaar Card with PF Account. We are facing too many problems in creating the PF account and generating the UAN number for few employees because either they do not have Aadhaar Card yet and if they have then it has few errors in name or date of birth etc, which is not allowing to generate the UAN. We have already asked such employee to initiate the process to get the card or corrections. However, to generate new card or make corrections in the existing one takes few months time as per government process. Hence, how do we generate the payroll for such employees with PF?
