Dear sir,

Employees are linking their Aadhaar card with UAN online by using this link (https://iwu.epfindia.gov.in/eKYC/LinkUanAadhaar). However, employees are failing to link their PAN Card and bank account with UAN. In this case, can an employee avail online PF services like online transfer/claim without employer help? Is linking the Aadhaar card enough to avail online PF services? Please clarify.

Dear Mr. Thirumurugan,

For availing online benefit updation of Pan Card and bank details, it is compulsory. Therefore, you need to identify the problems faced by your employees while updating these details, document them, and submit the report to the PF office if you are unable to resolve the issues internally.

Aadhar linking is just to prevent fraud and linking of pension fund contribution from GOI. Members have to ensure that they have everything correct in their UAN profile, such as bank account, PAN, Aadhar, gender, DOB, date of joining, etc.

Apart from this, members have to link their Aadhaar with the mobile to avail the Digital Claims.
