Hi All,
I want some attractive innovative idea for "PROCESS IMPROVEMENT " in an organization.
I had gone through with some stuffs (already available on this platform) but couln't find according to my requirement.
It's my humble request kindly share some idea How as a HR can contribute in Process Improvment "

Dear Swati,

HR can contribute only the improve the processes in the HR department. What about other departments? You need to involve the employees working in the respective department to improve the processes.

Suggestion for improvement on processes will depend on the motivation of the employees. If the employees lack motivation then they will never come up with the ideas for improvement. The second factor is trust on leadership. If the employees have attitude that "this suggestion will never be accepted in my company", then they will keep the suggestions in heart and never come out. The last factor is about HOD. In few cases, organisation is overall good but HOD lacks managerial skills. Juniors nurse grudge against the HOD or COO. In the bargain, they become the stumbling block in the suggestion from the employees.

I conduct training programme on not exactly on process improve. But I handle training on how to foster culture of collaboration in the company. As a part of the training, I conduct a simulation. Through simulation, I reduce the stress of the employees and encourage them to come up with the ideas for collaboration. These ideas are nothing but ideas for process improvement. Going further, I just do not encourage them to come up with the ideas but tell them to come up rough costing saving also. Later I submit report in the organised manner what ideas came up and what was the cost saving.

If you wish to organise my training, you may do so. However, it would be a paid programme. Nevertheless, ROI on the training is guaranteed. Be assured that benefits will far exceed than the cost that you will incur.

Hi,any process of improvement and implementation needs willing ness and willingness comes from selfotivation.Training and understanding human resource. In one of my previous post I wrote the quote of Mother teresa.which says - know your people,not just superficially but from the heart.Care for them.it gave me an idea to ensure that employees do everything when they are cared for.Only I invested much part spending time with them and training them with live examples .
