Hi All,
In today's Kannada news paper it is published that PF Limit is increase Rs.6500 to Rs.15000 also ESIC Rs.5000 to 25000 told by Union Labour Minister Mr.K.Suresh.
Please find the attachment of the information.
If any one got Gazetted Notification kindly share the same.

Dear Shashidhara ji, Thanks for sharing the news. May I request you / other member to translate the same? What is the exact wording in it? Is gazette notification out? I am not aware it so far.

Dear HR Fraternity,

Please do not bother on all these things.

P.F. still stands at Rs.6500/- and ESIC stands at Rs.15000/-.

With Election around the Corner - any such proposal needs detailed discussions in the Cabinet, Cabinet needs to approve such proposals, then it is to be sent to President for his approval - then it has to be NOTIFIED / GAZETTED.

Meanwhile there would be lobbying from Corporates to postpone or even dump such proposals.

Let us wait if at all these things AMENDED / NOTIFIED & GAZETTED. While gazetting (if at all passes various procedures) effective date will be intimated.

Until then let us just carry on with what is in our plate.

There was hue and cry when Sexual Harassment Act, so many interpretations - Articles etc. But what happened. NOT YET NOTIFIED OR GAZETTED. Central Government is yet to frame even Rules for that !!!

So for any Central or State Act, let us just wait for proper Notification --> Gazetting where effective date will be intimated in advance.

In India nothing implemented from this moment but for "increase in prices of essential commodities".

Dear team,
I need some clarity in gratuity payment..
we are working weekly 5 days in a week, presently we are providing gratuity for those who completed 4 years 240 days..but the discussion is people arguing 4 years 190 days also we need to provide gratuity....can you help me in this if we have to give 4 years 190 days means can you provide any judgement or any provision in gratuity act?
And next one is people not completed even 4 years during their retirement they are asking gratuity! whether we need to give gratuity to them?
kindly share your valuable advice along with necessary legal evidence.......

I agree with the above comments of my collegues. Let us wait till the Gazette Notification comes , till then let us wait and see.... Also I earnestly request the members whenever they attach local languate news item, please attach translation into English also as many of us cannot understand the local languages,, thanks ....

No doubt , Employers will search a way to avoid this (PF) . They will start the salary payments on different heads. Our ... Tax Consultants ( Who are they?) may definitely help them out to overcome the expenditure.

Dear Chithambararaj ji,
First of all, you started discussion of gratuity in wrong thread of PF. The subject of gratuity on 4 years & 240 days is well discussed earlier in this forum on number of occasions. The said judgement is also available in many discussions. You are requested to do research on it.
Please note the following:
1. The said judgement is binding only in the jurisdiction of HC Madras;
2. There is no question on paying gratuity on 4 years & less than 240 days, as you raised the query.
3. There is no question on paying gratuity on less than 5 years service except only in death case.
4. Gratuity on 4 years & 190 days, you need to bring fresh judgement.

The employees whose pay at the time of joining establishment in case is over and above Rs 15000/- are only to join the EPF scheme 1952 and EDLI scheme 1976 and shall not be eligible for joining the EP scheme1995
