My Last Date in the Company: 10-Aug-2023
I have worked for 4 years, 11 months, and 2 weeks. Please let me know whether I am eligible to claim the gratuity amount.

Eligibility for Gratuity
4.6 years of service is not eligible for gratuity. As per Section 4 of the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972, an employee will become eligible for gratuity on completion of continuous service of 5 years only. The 6-month criteria you are referring to is meant only for the purpose of computation of gratuity for the subsequent year.
