Hi seniors,
I would like to know how I can efficiently file the Personnel files (201 files).
Do you say it should be file under Employee names, or better under Categories for ex.Employment, Background etc.
Please advise.

It is advisable to maintain personal files in the name of the employees so that you can get all information pertaiining to an individual employee from appointment, probation, confirmation, P.F & ESI information, disciplinary matters to full and final settlement details at one place.If it is maintained subject wise, like appointment, probation , termination, P.F etc, you have to verify a large number of files to gather information pertaining to one employee. Yu can explore the means of taking benefit of technology in maintaining personal files.
