When it come to Jr. Level recruitment say 0-3 year so chances for turning for interview is very less.if you are looking for for 1 person to hire so you have to schedule minimum 10 candidtes for the same and try to schedule interview on weekend Friday ,Saturday if possible than Sunday-3 years experience age group candidates are very opportunistic etc for money, brand,ambiance,lack of commitment.
Do Mass Mailing first.
Have strong telephonic interview.
Tell candidates that interview wii taken by sr. authority so you have to be sure and to be on time.
Never request them, just show attitude in your voice it should not be rude but should be very clear.

Thank you so much guys for suggesting me and for sharing your valuable experience with me. Yes sometimes I feel that I'm lacking in maintaining friendly conversation with the candidate and seriously I'm trying to improve that.

"Candidates are not turning up for the interviews" means they didn't know about the interview. At present, you can find n numbers of students willing to for IT Industry. All you have to do is post in the Naukri portal. It's the best portal as far I know. Bulk mail them.. am sure your single mail will work.
