Job seekers can look forward to better times ahead. India is likely to see an uptick in hiring in the coming months, according to more than half of the human resource professionals surveyed by SP Jain School of Global Management. The business school released a report entitled 'Future Skills', based on responses from 1,390 professionals to a survey carried out across its campuses in Dubai, Singapore, Sydney, and India on the theme of workforce transformation.

Skill Requirements of the Future
This is a crisp article on the skill requirements of the future. The author has indicated a list of three current requirements:
1. Decision making
2. Digital literacy
3. Learning agility
The future skills are given as:
a) Managing Complexity
b) Innovative mindset
c) Dealing with ambiguity
In my view, even now all six are required, in addition to other soft skills like communication, negotiation, conflict handling, leadership, etc. The more soft skills a person has in their profile, the brighter their chances are to get better opportunities.
