Dear HR Fraternity,
There is a common problem post-performance appraisals in any organization. There is a group of people who complain that their performance ratings, as given by their supervisors, were good but were normalized by the HR department. How do you think an HR person should deal with the situation?
Please reply soon.

Normalization is a must process after appraisal. The people who complain might be well pets of superiors. If the same people are rated low by superiors, they will complain against them. So, handle the situation in a diplomatic way. Sit with their personal files and make them understand.
