Hi AJ,
Thank you for such an informative post. I am handling PMS in my organization and am really keen to learn about the application of the bell curve. I even tried the details provided in the attachment "Create Bell Curve in Excel" but I am stuck at the step "On the Tools menu, click Data Analysis" as I am not able to find the Data Analysis option in Excel 2007.
Could you kindly further guide me on this issue? I am looking forward to your response. I would also like to thank Shiva for providing so many details on Bell Curve Normalization.
Regards,
Pooja

Dear Pooja,
If you have been able to decide the range of points and the number of employees falling in each range, then put these in two different columns (range in one column and the number of employees falling in the range in the next column). Then select the data and insert a bar graph. The graph will reflect your bell curve.
