Dear Sir,
What is challan and how it can create an adverse effect in a labour case when referred to labour court/industrial tribunals (when an employer does not attend/participate in labour-cum-conciliation proceeding, despite being invited by/show cause notice by labour authorities, it often threaten of challan)
kindly comment.
regards,

Dear Naresh, Challan in this context means prosecution proceedings. where an employer opts to stay away from any proceedings before labour authorites, he is doing so at his risk and cost. The situation can become irretrivable. It is always better to consult an experienced legal professional in dealing with such matters.
