If an employee is terminated for disciplinary action, whether he will get a relieving letter and experience letter from his organization. He was having more than two year experience.

Yes He must receive, where as in the experience./ services letter you can clearly mention the your observations during his tenure.

You have to give him Service letter and relieving letter. If you want to really tarnish hi simage, you can mention that 'Due to so and so reasons, you are terminated on disciplinary ground and relieved from service w.e.f.....' . Generally no one does it intentionally. Better to give him a regular letter. Else it may affect his career.

Hi, Either you can give an experience letter stating that he has been terminated due to so and so reason or its better not to give any experience certificate.

Ms Veena,
It is the duty of HR to issue the experience letter even if he has been terminated. How can you say no to him? He has worked in your company and his labour record will substantiate his service. Whether voluntary separtion or termination, he was an employee and worked in your company. Tomorrow he can file a suit saying he was terminated without a service letter.
'A lady will continue to be called as 'Mrs or Ms' even if she is a widow or a divorcee.'
