Dear Friends,

What is your viewpoint on the future of HR in the Real Estate/Infrastructure industry? In my opinion, the industry is not mature enough to recognize the various aspects of HR. In fact, it's still more focused on Personnel management rather than Human Resource Management.

Please comment.

HR plays a more or less similar role in all sectors, although some variations occur according to sectoral needs.

In the real estate sector, HR assumes roles such as:
- Recruitment
- Induction
- Training (Functional and Behavioral)
- Performance Management
- Compensation
- Employee Engagement
- Reward system
- Exit formalities and full and final settlement

In Real Estate, prominent companies have become more cautious about their employees and have started giving importance to HR. Some companies are also establishing HR departments, providing HR professionals with a great opportunity to showcase their capabilities by starting everything from scratch.
