There are three terminologies:

1. Sourcing
2. Recruiting
3. Resourcing

Sourcing involves identifying suitable candidates to join the organization. Recruiting is the process of selecting and making these candidates available for employment. Resourcing focuses on determining where these candidates can be effectively utilized to generate revenue. It also involves analyzing internal availability and ensuring the candidates are appropriately placed.

Hi,

A little addition to what has been said: Recruitment and Selection are two different terms. Many HR professionals in today's world are merging them into one, which is typically Recruitment. The main idea is that "When Recruitment ends, Selection Starts."
