To select the employee of the month you can ask for the recommendations from the HOD’sa of the particular departments, if there is any format of Monthly appraisals in your organization than work out on recommended names with appraisals.

Dear Kalyani,

It's an excellent idea to start a "Man of the Month" initiative. We have already implemented this in our organization for the past 3 months, called "STAR of the Month."

The parameters we use for evaluation are as follows:

By Team Leader:
1. Performance
2. Team Player
3. Initiative
4. Learner

By HR:
1. Behavior
2. Attitude
3. Appearance

Additionally, we also gather votes from all employees to determine who they believe should be recognized as the STAR.
