Can anyone help me with a Maslow's Hierarchy-related questionnaire to be given to employees to understand their motivational needs, or any other ERG-related questionnaire, as I need to use it for retention purposes?

Dear Yogesh Halwe,

Generally, a questionnaire on Maslow's theory of the hierarchy of needs is developed by companies. It is not typically developed by an individual. Even if an individual does create it, the person needs to have intellectual depth and, above all, should have the time and energy to invest. Nevertheless, the question that arises is when a commercial organization or an individual develops a questionnaire, why would they share their research work in a public forum?

You have been a member of this forum for the last ten months. During your tenure, have you shared anything for the benefit of other members? In fact, you have not given basic replies to the queries raised by other members. Therefore, the question arises, why do you wish others to do for you what you do not do for them?

My post may appear very straightforward and harsh; however, it is the penchant of the members of this forum to expect someone else to spoon-feed them.

Anyway, my recommendation is to prepare a questionnaire on your own and upload it to this forum. Some senior members like me will correct it. Otherwise, express your explicit desire to hire a consultant. In fact, I have a questionnaire ready that I had prepared for my client. However, it cannot be shared for obvious reasons!

All the best!
