I am working as an HR Officer, and I have completed my probation period of three months. I am a fresher in the HR field, although I have four years of experience, and I am currently pursuing an MBA in HR, in the 3rd semester. During the interview, the Managing Director (M.D.) informed me that my salary would be increased after three months. Now that the time has come, please advise me on how to request my increment. Should I communicate via email or verbally? Additionally, since there was no HR department before me, how will the M.D. evaluate my department to determine if I have contributed to the organization's improvement? I have downloaded the HR Audit form from your site; could you please clarify who should fill out the HR Audit?
