Respected Seniors/Colleagues,
I have a doubt and am seeking guidance regarding a query presented to you through an example.
Example 1:
Suppose an employee left the organization on 18.08.2018 without any information and joined another company on 19.08.2018. We have remitted his PF till 31.08.2018. In the following month, we received a resignation from the employee stating the Date of Resignation as 18.08.2018, which was later updated on our end on the UAN portal.
Please suggest if this practice is correct. If not, what impact will it have on the employee or the organization?

If an employee has absconded since 18.08.2018, how do you process their wages until 31.08.2018? Who approved their leave from 18.08.2018 to 31.08.2018? If no leave was approved, it should be considered as Loss Of Pay.
