Hi Team,

I was working in one of the companies in Bangalore which I had quit 10 years ago. The company's headquarters are in Mumbai, and Provident Fund (PF) used to be deducted. At that time, I did not receive the PF and have not claimed it until now. I worked there for 3 years, and the company shut down, leaving me feeling helpless.

Please guide me on whether I can claim the PF now or not.

Thanks.

What records of PF do you have?

- UAN number?
- PF account statement from the old company?
- Name and address of the old company?

You can visit the nearest PF office near the old company's location and inquire with the officials there. If you are currently employed, you can transfer the balances from your old employment PF account to your current PF account.
