Reckoning Of Continuous Services of 240 Days or One Year ?, if 240 days Sunday , other holiday and other leave(EL ,CL ,SL) included are not please kindly confirm with relevant section

An employee who has worked for 240 days during a period of 12 months is said to have worked for a year under various Acts like the Payment of Gratuity Act, Industrial Disputes Act, Factories Act, etc., for various purposes such as eligibility for gratuity, retrenchment, layoff compensation, annual leave with wages, etc. This should include all paid holidays, weekly off days, and paid leave days.
