Method of Recruitment
- Portal
- Head Hunting
- Internal Reference
- Advertisement
- Recruitment Agencies
- Walk-In
We can use other effective methods to save our company expenses, and for that, we should follow a certain process.
1. HR Recruiter should get the requirement from any department 1 month in advance.
2. Based on the requirement, the recruiter can reach out to people in the same industry through references and head hunting.
3. As soon as recruiters get the requirement, they should post it on the notice board, mentioning that anyone who closes this position will get 1 month's salary of the candidate or 15 days' salary. This way, internal employee references can work out, and employees will get involved. (HR department can't refer anyone in this process.)
4. We should advertise, mentioning the date of the interview, and conduct an open house interview on a selected day.
If nothing works out after 20 days of hard work, only then should we give the requirement to agencies. We should pay the agency only if the candidate stays with our company for 3 months.
At the same time, the HR Head or COO can check with the recruiter about the work done in 20 days, which can impact performance appraisals.
After the Selection of the Employee
If a candidate leaves the company within six months, the Recruiter, Department Head, and Mentor of the department should be answerable. The company spends significant time, money, and value in selecting the candidate, and if they leave before 6 months, it is a loss for the company.
