Yes, but for applicability, please check your state's Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Rules. It depends on the state; the Act prescribes 100, while in some states it's 50, 20, etc. Employers have to frame their own standing orders, and certification is required from the appropriate authority under the Act. In case of failure of certification, the Model Standing Orders appended to the Rules become applicable.
