You could work, subject to paying 3 times OT and send the appropirate information to Ins.of Factories.
Do get the concuurance from the employees for work on 2 nd Oct 2011. You also need to give comp.off for the working on National Hoiliday

You can work with the following condtions:
Since it is an National Holiday, you need to keep the Inspector of Factories informed atlease 2 days earlier and pay overtime to employees 300% of the normal overtime and a comp off.
On the other holidays, you can inform them, pay 200% OT amount and a compoff or pay 300% OT and No comp off or intimation.
