Our company has three EPF codes in different states. We are now deciding to merge all employees under a single code.
The questions are:
01. Is a new EPF code to be issued?
02. What about their old PF amount - either withdraw or transferred to a new account?
03. Can any problems arise with the PF department?

A unified code is possible either by retaining one existing code or by constituting a new establishment and getting a new code for that establishment thereafter. Once that is decided, you can transfer all old accounts by individually filing Form 13 in respect of all employees to the newly allotted PF account numbers.
