One of our employees was working at our branch A for 2 months. Subsequently, he was transferred to branch B. During this process, he was assigned two different PF account numbers at the respective branches but with the same UAN number.
How can we merge the two different PF accounts with the same UAN into one?

Dear Neeta,
Based on the details you have provided, this is what you have said:
1) Does your employee have one UAN for PF account number?
2) Do you wish to combine these accounts into one UAN?
If both of these are true, I have one question: Do both Branch A and B have two separate PF codes or just one PF code?

Dear Neeta,
Please help the employee to activate his current UAN number. The UAN should be linked with Aadhar and bank account details. Ensure that those KYC details are approved by the employer. After that, just log into the employee's UAN account and initiate the transfer by entering the employee's previous EPF number (path: online services -> one employee one EPF).
Alternatively, you can transfer using Form 13A manually. I hope only the EPF amount can be transferred to the current EPF account.
