Dear,

Gratuity is not a deposited amount anywhere from where an employee can withdraw it. It is to be paid to the employee concerned by the employer if he is eligible to receive it.

Dear,

To file a claim case before the Controlling Authority under The Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972 of the concerned area, you must prove that the gratuity payment has been withheld or deducted illegally by the bank management.

Hi,

After completion of 5 years of continuous service in the same organization, the employee will be eligible for gratuity. In case of resignation, expiration, superannuation, or disablement, gratuity will be payable to the employee.

I had resigned from my job on 07.06.2010 (DOJ: 01.04.1998). When will I receive my gratuity amount from my old office? Because, till date, I have not received the gratuity amount. Kindly provide details of the rules.

Regards,
