I am implementing the performance management system for the first time in my organization, along with my boss. We have decided to adopt a 180-degree appraisal. We have completed the design of the appraisal form. Now, I have to prepare a manual that will explain how to proceed with the appraisal (like a ready reckoner). Can any of you help me with the inputs, please?

Hi all,

My post might be purely out of context, but isn't it better to relook and go in for a 360-degree performance appraisal now that you're going in for a revamp? Is cost a hindrance to that?

Hi Dheeraj,

Thank you for your email. We are facing an issue. There are around 4500 employees across various divisions. They don't know much about the appraisal process as this is their first time experiencing it in a structured manner. Once we implement it, we can introduce the concept of 360-degree appraisals simultaneously.

If you have any manuals on the 180-degree appraisal, please share them with me.
