Hi Poonam,
360-degree feedback is an appraisal method that is now widely used by most organizations. It involves collecting performance feedback from various sources, including an employee's immediate supervisor, manager, peers, subordinates, internal customers, and external customers. This comprehensive approach to evaluating performance involves input from all these different perspectives, which is why it is referred to as 360-degree performance evaluation. Questionnaires are commonly used to gather feedback.
Thanks,

Hi Poonam,
It's an appraisal method where the performance of the employee is not only focused on his own department but also on his approach towards the organization as a whole. He/she is rated on parameters, some of which are Communication, Interpersonal skills, floor decorum, etc.
Evaluation is done by combining the feedback received from many people who observe different aspects of an employee's performance.
It starts from "0" and ends at "0". That's how it's known as a 360-degree appraisal method.
Thanks,
Harshada

Hi Poonam,
360-degree appraisal is an extended form of 180-degree appraisal. In 180-degree appraisal, an individual's performance is assessed by his immediate supervisor and his team (if any), whereas in 360-degree appraisal, he is assessed by all of them, as I told you earlier. Please find the attachment; I hope it will help you a lot.
